It offers, from beginner to advanced language courses a number of Korean and Chinese, and Spanish, besides English.
Second Foreign Languages
The Soka Core Program requires that each student obtain 4 credits of a second foreign language.
There are 7 language courses available as a second foreign language course.

◆Courses from Level Ⅰ to Ⅵ are available.
◆Freshmen are expected to take an intensive course which is held twice a week.
Please take Level Ⅰ in the spring semester and Level Ⅱ in the fall semester.
◆Courses from level Ⅲ - Ⅳ are available to take from the 2nd year forward.
Ⅲ and Ⅴ in the spring semester and Ⅳ and Ⅵ in the fall semester. These courses are recommended for students who want to advance more in their language studies.

◆This is an elective course. Classes are once a week for 1 credit per semester.
◆These 9 languages are considered as a third foreign language however, if you receive 4 credits within 1 language, it will be accepted as a second foreign language. In order to do so, you need to submit a document.
